Kariega Clarendon Primary Kids Trip

The Grade Four pupils at Clarendon Primary School in Port Elizabeth held a ‘Popcorn Parade’ in August 2016 to raise funds for rhino conservation. A wide range of delicious popcorn goodies were made and sold to the rest of the school and a huge amount of fun was had by all. This just goes to show that being eco-warriors is not only about hard work!

Port Elizabeth School Children Donate Funds to Kariega Foundation Save the Rhino Fund

The purpose of the exercise was to learn about running a small business and, hopefully, make a profit! The children were then encouraged to donate part of their profits to a charity of their choice.

Thank you Clarendon Grade Four’s for nominating The Kariega Foundation Save the Rhino Fund as your charity of choice. The R800 you raised and donated will go towards conserving and protecting our rhino. We appreciated your generosity, effort and care. It is schools and learners like yours that gives us all so much hope for a bright future teeming with rhino.
