The Kariega Conservation Volunteers planted indigenous tree seedlings to celebrate Arbor Week from 1-7 September 2015.

The Kariega volunteers made a difference on Mandela Day by planting some trees at a nearby school.

Summer is slowly but surely coming to an end. The days are getting shorter and we can feel the mornings and evenings getting cooler on our open game viewer vehicle. Here is what our amazing volunteers have been up to during the month of March.

February is the shortest month of the year and probably also the hottest month of the year on Kariega Game Reserve. This did not stop our enthusiastic volunteers from doing a great job on the reserve.

Kariega volunteers started this year with a bang and have already done some great work on the reserve.

November has been marked with new animal babies appearing all over the reserve. The Eastern Cape bush is also full of new life after the wonderful spring rains. It has truly been a pleasure being out and about on the reserve this month. Read all about this action packed month in the November Volunteer Update.

The seasons have changed and we are now officially in spring! This means rain and warmer days. However, whatever the weather the conservation volunteers had an action-packed month on Kariega Game Reserve.
