Kariega Chelee Brown Lions

All credit to ranger Chelee Brown for this spectacular photo of three lionesses at our Eastern Cape game reserve. We are not the only ones who think it is awesome. Chelee’s photo was featured on www.wherelionsroam.com as their photo of the week for the fourth week in October 2016. Congratulations Chelee. It is great to see your talent being recognized.

Eastern Cape Game Reserve Ranger Describes Scene Behind Lion Photo

Chelee described the scene behind her image saying, “These three girls recently joined us from another game reserve and were understandably nervous of the vehicles and viewing was tough. I got my guests up early one morning and off we went on our mission to find them. We picked up their tracks on a road and I followed. As we rounded a corner there they were walking straight towards us! Having to reverse, stop, take photos, reverse again was challenging to say the least but the sighting was magical. These are absolutely stunning lionesses and they demanded all the attention.”

The photo was taken with ISO:1000; shutter: 1/80sec and aperture: F 6.3

Thanks Chelee! Keep them coming. Did you see these lionesses on your Kariega safari? Share your story and photos with us on Facebook.
