Kariega Conservation Volunteers spend a productive afternoon working with kids in the community
A big thanks to the very enthusiastic group of Kariega Conservation Volunteers that made it a memorable afternoon with the children of Klipfontein After-care centre recently.
The afternoon was spent teaching basic computer skills, and taking reading tests with students aged between 6 and 14.
Kariega volunteer Duncan Brown commented, "I think the community after school project is fantastic. The kids really care about learning and really connect with you, along with appreciating you presence. I wouldn’t mind going every week, it’s so great. Especially all the hugs at the end of the day!"
