Amazing video footage and photographs, taken by Kariega ranger Chelee, capturing the extraordinary sounds of lions giving a ‘roaring sonata’ at sunset were recently featured in the Washington Post and UK Daily Mail.
Guests Stunned at Sight and Sounds of Roaring Kariega Lion
The UK Daily Mail article explains how Kariega ranger Chelee spotted the pride of lion and brought her game drive vehicle to a stop a few meters away. The setting was quite magical with the sun going down as the pride started to wake up. One after the other lion and lionesses began to roar, before they all joined together in a spectacular crescendo. Chelee’s guests watched and listened in amazement from only meters away.
That is the wonder of an African safari – one never knows what experiences await around the next corner!
