The Kariega team was delighted to welcome past safari guest Sarah Cobden Ramsay back to Kariega Game Reserve in early February.

Sarah visited again to donate 12 bush cameras to the Kariega Foundation Save the Rhino project. These will support and enhance our rhino conservation programme. Sarah raised the funds for the bush cameras through creating and selling Rhino Tear pendants – Jewellery with a Conscience.

Rhino Thandi Inspired Sarah’s Conservation Endeavours

Sarah was deeply touched by rhino Thandi's courageous story. After gentle encouragement from ranger Daniel, Sarah returned home from her African safari inspired and energized and got working to make and sell pendants. Now she, in turn, has inspired all of us!

Thanks from Kariega Foundation Save the Rhino Fund

Thank you Sarah. The Kariega Foundation is so very grateful for your efforts and generous donation.

It seems appropriate that Thandi had a thank you gift for Sarah too – Colin, Thandi’s newest calf who represents the victory of Sarah and many other people his famous mom Thandi has inspired! Unfortunately Thandi and Colin were still nesting deep in the thicket during Sarah's visit. So she has a good reason to visit us again!

Donate now to Save The Rhino Rhino at Kariega Game Reserve … every little bit helps.
