There is much to do and see at Kariega Game Reserve. As a result anything from 2 to 5 nights or more can be enjoyed; however, a minimum 2 night stay is highly recommended for your ultimate safari experience.

A day at Kariega Main or Ukhozi Lodge

(summer roster: mid-September to 30 April)

06h00	:	Depart for an early morning game drive and river cruise.
09h30	:	Return to your Lodge for a late, but hearty breakfast.
10h30	:	Enjoy a walk, a mountain bike ride, go canoeing, have a swim or just relax!
13h00	:	Savor the flavors of a well earned lunch.
14h30	:	Siesta time. Or relax and take in the view.
16h00	:	Depart for an evening game drive.
19h30	:	Return to the lodge for your evening meal in either the boma or the restaurant.

A day at River Lodge

06h00	:	Depart for an early morning game drive.
09h30	:	Return to the Lodge for a late, but hearty breakfast.
10h30	:	Take a trip down the Bushman’s River to the coast, go fishing, have a swim, or just relax!
13h00	:	Savor the flavors of a well earned lunch.
14h30	:	Siesta time. Or relax and take in the view.
16h00	:	Depart for an evening game drive.
19h30	:	Return to the lodge for your evening meal in either the boma or the restaurant.

06h00	:	Depart for an early morning game drive and river cruise.
09h30	:	Return to your Lodge for a late, but hearty breakfast.

The itinerary at The Homestead is very flexible, and can be adjusted to accommodate the requests or needs of each family or group.

For all lodges the winter roster applies from 1 May to mid-September: breakfast from 07h30 follwed by morning game drive and river cruise from 08h15 - 11h00; afternoon game drive from 15h30.
